  • create systemd service to run after puppetserver (+ short sleep) that moves a copy of the crl.pem to /etc/puppetlabs/puppet/ssl/crl.pem

  • add puppet resource to copy /etc/puppetlabs/puppet/ssl/crl.pem to a second location, e.g. /root/.cache/puppetserver_crl.pem
