Delete Branch "benvin/router-sysctl"
Deleting a branch is permanent. Although the deleted branch may continue to exist for a short time before it actually gets removed, it CANNOT be undone in most cases. Continue?
Effective rp_filter is max(all, ). Setting
all/defaultto 0 is not enough after a reboot:/usr/lib/sysctl.d/50-redhat.confsetsnet.ipv4.conf.*.rp_filter = 1, which udev applies to every interface as it is created, so routed asymmetric traffic gets dropped once shorewall goes.net.ipv4.conf.*.rp_filter: 0to the router role, overriding the vendor globenforcefor it, sincesysctl -ncannot read glob keysNo findings.
