Fedora 42 went EOL and live mirrors (gsl-syd.mm.fcix.net) pruned releases/42 and updates/42, so F42 clients get 404s through the existing fedora remote. The content now lives on archive.fedoraproject.org (verified HTTP 200 for both paths).

F42 clients repoint their .repo baseurls at /api/v1/remote/fedora-archive/...
