bind-operator v0.4.0 applies config changes with rndc reconfig instead of restarting pods, which records the result in a new status.appliedConfig field and a ConfigApplied condition. It also renders forwarders { }; for forward zones with no forwarders.

  • bump the bind-operator image to v0.4.0
  • bump the CRD install URL to the v0.4.0 tag
